Sublunary is an intelligent object that powerlessly transports polar auroras into domestic spaces. When geomagnetic activity is high and an auroral light show is occurring at the poles, Sublunary illuminates in concert.

Design includes a custom-designed and fabricated geomagnetic flux sensor and a magnetic cathode ray bulb fabricated by Reliance Glass. The accompanying table is composed of an acid-etched glass top and aluminum legs.

Sublunary was shown at the Sullivan Galleries of the Art Institute of Chicago.
